Race to the Top Winners Announced

Two States were awarded the gold by Secretary Duncan at the U.S. Department of Education.  Delaware and Tennessee were named the Race to the Top Winners for the first round of funding.  Delaware will be given $100 million, and Tennessee $500 million over the next four years for their comprehensive school reform plans.  Race to the Top’s goal is to focus on “more accurate information about what students know and can do.*"…See More
